Download the New Report Providing Guidance on Resilient Infrastructure
A NOAA-funded Regional Coastal Resilience Grant project has culminated in the publication of “Planning for Infrastructure Resilience,” a report that provides practical methods to help communities move toward safer, more resilient infrastructure. The American Planning Association, which co-produced the report with the Association of State Floodplain Managers, says it is already the most viewed report of its kind in the organization’s history. Future work plans include applying the national guidance in local communities, providing case studies that showcase early resilient infrastructure projects, and developing further guidance on how to make equitable and inclusive infrastructure decisions. The two organizations that put out the report are members of the Digital Coast Partnership.
