Teachers, Get Muddy at an Estuary Workshop!

Join one of our Teachers on the Estuary workshops at most of our National Estuarine Research Reserve System locations this spring and summer. These hands-on workshops offer a wide variety of professional development opportunities that teachers can apply to their lesson plans. By participating in one of these workshops, you will have the opportunity to

  • Explore coastal habitats and conduct field investigations
  • Interact with local scientists and experienced coastal educators
  • Bring local and national data into your classroom

Check out our 2017 Teachers on the Estuary offerings for more information. Many of the programs have upcoming registration deadlines, so apply now. Visit our Teachers on the Estuary program page for more information on our national teacher training initiative.
