Webinar Series: Pacific Resilience Forum
The Pacific Resilience Forum is a webinar series on climate change topics of importance to the Pacific Islands region. Organized by the Pacific Risk Management Ohana (PRiMO), the forum will provide opportunities to share experiences and expertise on climate change issues that face the region. Over the next year we will partner with the Hawaiʻi Climate Adaptation Initiative, co-led by the Hawaiʻi Department of Land and Natural Resources and Office of Planning, to host a series of webinars on adapting to sea level rise. The initial topics were identified through discussions with representatives from Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, American Samoa, and other Pacific Island communities. Each webinar will have an island host and explore multiple dimensions of the topic including the issues, the science, and the best practices to address climate change threats. The duration of each webinar is 1½ hours and will be recorded and posted.
