Service Description: This map service presents spatial information about the US Interagency Elevation Inventory (USIEI) service across the United States and Territories in the Web Mercator projection. The service was developed as part of a collaboration between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management, the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the National Park Service (NPS), and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The U.S. Interagency Elevation Inventory contains data and information from a variety of sources, including non-NOAA data. The service was developed by NOAA.
Changes made to the service to support version 2 of the USIEI app are described in a GeoZone blog post.
