Service Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>SLR Viewer Ancillary Data</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>These data were created as part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management's efforts to create an online mapping viewer depicting potential sea level rise and its associated impacts on the nation's coastal areas. The purpose of the mapping viewer is to provide coastal managers and scientists with a preliminary look at sea level rise and coastal flooding impacts. The viewer is a screening-level tool that uses nationally consistent data sets and analyses. Data and maps provided can be used at several scales to help gauge trends and prioritize actions for different scenarios.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>"Photo Simulation Locations" represents locations where sea level rise photo simulations are available.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>"High Tide Flooding Stations" represents the location of select NOAA Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services tide stations that have a minor high tide flooding threshold. This layer does not represent all tide stations available for an area. For more information about tide stations visit NOAA CO-OPS.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>"Scenario Locations" represents locations that have future sea level rise scenarios.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>"Zoom To Regions" represents the extents of various regions for the SLR Viewer.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P><P><SPAN>These data are provided "as is," without warranty to their performance, merchantable state, or fitness for any particular purpose.
