Landcover/CCAP_High_Resolution_V2_Impervious_Vectors (MapServer)

View In:   ArcGIS JavaScript   ArcGIS Online Map Viewer   ArcGIS Earth   ArcGIS Pro

Service Description: This map displays high resolution impervious features, including buildings, roads, pavement, and railways. These data were generated for coastal regions across the United States by Ecopia , a Canada-based company that leverages proprietary artificial intelligence technology to extract landscape features from high resolution aerial imagery. Due to licensing agreements, the detailed impervious features are not available for public distribution. However, thorough the tile cached service displayed in this map, the data can be viewed and displayed in desktop and online mapping applications. Ecopia was contracted by NOAA's Office for Coastal Management (OCM) to develop this impervious data, along with water and woody canopy layers, for coastal regions across the United States. This work was done as part of NOAA’s Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) efforts to develop high resolution coastal land cover products, and to track changes in those areas by keeping the date updated in the future. Public versions of that data can be found on NOAA’s Digital Coast website for high resolution C-CAP data: https://coast.noaa.gov/digitalcoast/data/ccaphighres.html
