Building Capacity for a Community-Driven Coastal Resilience Plan in St. James Parish

Grant Amount: $450,000 Matching Funds: $103,116
This award will create a community-driven coastal resilience plan focused on sustainability and transferability to improve habitat for wildlife and coastal resilience for local communities. The project will identify coastal planning needs, create accessible coastal hubs, and develop a resilience plan for the Parish to create a habitat for 100 migratory avian species and reduce flooding risks for the community.
