Overview
This ArcGIS extension is used to identify suitable locations for new marsh plants during coastal wetland restoration. By delineating planting areas and providing point data that can be uploaded to GPS receivers, the Marsh Analysis and Planning Tool Incorporating Tides and Elevations (MAPTITE) allows users to accurately plant appropriate species to successfully create or restore the marsh area’s ecosystem functions.
Requires ArcGIS software and Spatial Analyst extension.
