Georeferencing a Map or T-sheet

Overview

Analyzing historical shorelines often involves extracting a shoreline from maps and T-sheets (historical manuscripts). Before vectorizing or digitizing the shoreline boundary, the map must be georeferenced. This interactive tutorial steps users through the process of georeferencing a T-sheet.
