Durham Point – Langley Project

Recipient: Strafford County Conservation District

Federal Funding: $1,131,500

This award funds the acquisition of a conservation easement of over 44 acres of high-priority habitat in the county. The Strafford County Conservation District and New Hampshire Coastal Management Program will partner to protect a property that is critical to mitigating floods and reducing harmful nutrient levels which affect the growing industry of commercial oyster farms in the immediate vicinity of the property.
