Conservation of the Headwaters of Winchester Tributaries

Federal Funding: $834,800

This award funds the acquisition of 80 acres to be added to the South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, protecting important mature coastal forest habitat from clearcutting and preserving the ecological functions that improve water quality and provide protection from flooding.
